Job Summary
Perform digital quantity takeoffs using PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar software by reviewing architectural drawings and bid documents to extract accurate measurements. Assist in preparing cost estimates, organizing subcontractor proposals, and tracking plan revisions, RFIs, and project documentation while supporting Project Management with budgets and bid follow-ups. Communicate professionally with subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure precise bid package assembly. This full-time, in-person role in NYC offers growth into a full Estimator position on premium, architect-driven projects with a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of construction or estimating experience (commercial or residential)
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Full-time, in-person role
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or willingness to learn quickly
