Job Summary
Construction Surveillance Engineer to support Navy/NSA Charleston tasks including construction inspection, QA, CQC, schedule review, submittal reviews, RFI processing, and coordination with FEAD/ROICC; requires 7+ years in construction management/engineering on large facilities, knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project), CQM certification or within 60 days, ABET/ACC/NAAB accredited degree in engineering/construction/architecture; US citizenship and driver’s license required; located in Goose Creek, SC with on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture from ABET/ACC... NAAB accredited university
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in construction management/field engineering/quality control on large facilities/contracts >$5M
- Knowledge of scheduling methods and software (Primavera, Suretrak, P3, P6, MS Project)
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; RS Means/CostWorks
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral)
- Experience with construction scheduling, submittals processing (RFI/ submittals)
- Knowledge of Federal building design criteria and construction guide specifications
- Ability to prepare cost estimates and negotiate changes
- CQM certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Security clearance / US citizenship
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with environmental protection requirements and safety compliance
- Construction inspection and quality control focus
- ABET/ACC/NAAB accredited degrees as applicable
