Construction Supervisor (Tunnels)

Monitor construction on public improvement contracts by coordinating field engineering, inspecting materials and equipment, and ensuring work conforms to contract requirements. Conduct construction meetings, review design plans for constructability, and assess contractor means and methods. Oversee day-to-day field activities, manage project scope changes, and assign testing personnel while acting as a liaison between engineers and contractors. Prepare daily reports, cash flow projections, and verify invoices to validate payment accuracy. Negotiate change orders and claims, resolve public complaints, and ensure safe work practices are observed. Manage multiple projects concurrently, including high-risk tunnel environments, with occasional field travel and confined space entry.
