Job Summary
The Construction Supervisor will plan, organize, direct, and control the execution of general construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, design, and environmental compliance. Key responsibilities include leading construction teams, developing comprehensive work proposals, and ensuring timely delivery of contract commitments while maintaining project schedule and budget. Candidates must have extensive experience in transmission/distribution construction, strong leadership abilities, and a detailed understanding of relevant construction standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in transmission/distribution, overhead line or substation construction activities
- Supervisory experience with electric transmission, substation and distribution facilities
- Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA, local, and applicable environmental rules and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to understand construction field issues and specifications
- Resilient and self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Collaborative
