Job Summary
Construction Supervisor-led role focusing on planning, directing, and controlling client-site general construction projects in transmission/distribution/substation environments. Responsibilities include developing a complete Work Proposal with construction work plan, detailed schedule, Safety & Health Plan, and outage plan; coordinating external resources to support the contract work plans and budget; interfacing with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments; participating in weekly updates and reports; and ensuring adherence to design, safety, and environmental requirements. Requires 10+ years of supervisory experience in electric transmission/substation construction, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and thorough understanding of construction standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in transmission/distribution, overhead line or substation construction activities and the operation and maintenance of electric transmission, substation and distribution facilities in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA, local, and applicable environmental rules and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with self-direction and high motivation
- The ability to understand construction field issues, prints specification sheets schematics, one-line diagrams, and instructional information to construct, maintain, and troubleshoot electric transmission and distribution lines, and substation equipment
