Job Summary
Lead crews and manage subcontractors to drive delivery on water main renewals and sewer rehab projects while maintaining safety, quality, and program targets. Operate day-to-day site activities for civil works, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Enforce a Zero Harm safety culture and manage stakeholder relationships with clients and community representatives. Ensure all work adheres to Downer and GWW standards. This permanent role in Campbellfield requires solid experience in water/sewer or civil construction, strong site leadership skills, and valid tickets for confined space, trenching, and working at heights. Join Downer's Energy & Utilities team, which designs and maintains critical infrastructure networks across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in water/sewer or civil construction
- Strong supervisor experience leading crews and subcontractors
- Tickets: Confined Space, Trenching & Shoring, Working at Heights (or similar)
- Safety-first mindset with proven site leadership
- Confident communicator who can manage teams and stakeholders
