Job Summary
On-site Construction Superintendent responsible for directing all on-site Camp employees, subcontractors, craftsmen, tradesmen, and vendors to meet goals and standards. Duties include preparing cost estimates, budgets and schedules; inspecting worksites; determining material, subcontractor and labor needs; participating in pre-construction meetings; ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget; reviewing invoices and timesheets for contract compliance; traveling to remote markets to prepare estimates and ensure adherence to local codes and methods; identifying and selecting local subcontractors and vendors; and pursuing cost reduction while maintaining quality. Requires at least high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, construction experience (multi-family preferred), and proficiency with NAV, ProCore or Sage and Microsoft Office Suite. Travel a minimum of 75% and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
