Construction Superintendent | Traveling
Job Summary
Lead the planning, coordination, and direct supervision of suppliers and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Develop project schedules, communicate sequences of work, and work closely with the project management team to ensure on-time completion. Conduct safety site meetings, maintain safety files, and enforce safety protocols. Manage quality control, complete close-out with as-built drawings, punch lists, inspections, and sign-offs. Review plans, conduct constructability reviews, submit/manage RFIs and submittals, maintain daily logs, track materials and deliveries, and ensure project status alignment. Travel throughout the U.S. supporting projects nationwide; strong emphasis on field leadership, communication with clients and executives, and collaboration with diverse teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in the commercial construction industry; ground up work preferred
- Strong ability to read and understand construction documents
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. for the project duration
- Proven background with employee/management relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level clients
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Capability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
