Job Summary
Conduct drilling and blasting operations in construction and quarry environments while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards. Manage procurement and logistics for materials, supplies, and equipment, and oversee project budgets, QC efforts, and standards to support profitability. Perform laboring tasks including manual drilling and blasting across varied terrain and all weather conditions. Engage in a dedicated Development Plan with a mentor to build skills toward a State licensed Blaster certification and future supervisory leadership roles. Travel frequently within a multi-state area as opportunities arise.
Required Qualifications
- Recent College degree in Construction, Engineering, Mining, or similar
- Recent separation from Military service (optional alternative to degree)
- Willingness to travel within a multi-state area
- Willingness to perform laboring, drilling, and blasting tasks
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to be highly engaged in a Development Plan
