Construction Superintendent Trainee

Job Summary
Oversee the progress and quality of all jobs under construction while setting performance standards for subcontractors and suppliers. Control costs through material usage management and create punch lists for framing, mechanical, and insulation work. Be proactive in answering customer questions about the building process and take an active part in subdivision and model maintenance. Comply with OSHA regulations and utilize internal software systems to track job completion progress. Shadow experienced superintendents through a formalized nine-module training program covering the entire construction lifecycle from plan signing to warranty. Work Monday through Friday with additional hours as necessary, applying strong organizational skills and blueprint reading abilities to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to read and comprehend blue prints
- Excellent organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication proficiencies with internal and external customers
- Basic computer skills
- 2-4 year college degree in Construction Management/related field
- 2-4 years construction related experience
