Job Summary
Conduct preconstruction meetings to confirm project scope and set expectations with customers. Build and manage project schedules by coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and jurisdictional inspections. Provide daily field oversight to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, codes, and specifications. Maintain quality standards through regular site inspections and resolve production issues or punch-list items. Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to provide updates and document all material activities. Identify out-of-scope work, prepare change orders, and evaluate subcontractor performance during final walk-throughs. Full-time position requiring frequent local driving and regular time at active job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three years of experience managing residential construction, reconstruction, or restoration projects, including coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Working knowledge of construction methods, job-site safety, scheduling, materials, quality control, and local inspection processes
- Experience working directly with customers and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project timelines
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and basic math skills
- Ability to read scopes of work, plans, specifications, estimates, and purchase orders
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a background check

- Additional construction or business education
- Five or more years of experience managing residential construction, reconstruction, or restoration projects, including coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Estimating experience
- Established relationships with reliable subcontractors and vendors
