Job Summary
Construction Superintendent role requiring direct communication with customers, supervision of carpenters, and oversight to ensure timely, quality completion of restoration/construction projects. Responsibilities include coordinating material, permits, and inspections; assisting in change-order estimating and documentation; enforcing safety practices (PPE, MSDS); monitoring labor and material costs via job-cost reports; scheduling and supervising subcontractors; ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations and company quality standards; maintaining a safe, clean jobsite; and participating in on-call rotations. Strong emphasis on customer service, project management, scheduling, budgeting, and team leadership, with a company vehicle provided and potential yearly bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience
- 2 years project management experience (preferred)
- Strong remodeling/restoration experience (preferred)
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Xactimate experience (preferred)
