Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent position at ServiceMaster DSI in Champaign, IL. Responsibilities include direct communication with customers throughout the project, management and scheduling of direct report carpenters, ensuring timely procurement of materials, permits, licenses, and inspections, driving a company vehicle to customer locations, overseeing completion of construction and carpentry projects, managing change orders and cost reporting, enforcing safety practices, maintaining productive subcontractor performance, and ensuring work meets regulatory and company standards. Requires strong communication and customer service, at least 5 years of hands-on construction experience, project-management experience (preferred), remodeling/restoration experience, ability to manage multiple projects, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to lift 50+ lbs, background check and drug screen, and familiarity with Xactimate (preferred).
