Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and compliance with quality standards and regulations. Lead on-site teams, coordinate permits and logistics, develop and manage schedules, supervise subcontractors, and maintain project documentation. Conduct safety briefings, enforce OSHA standards, perform quality inspections, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Utilize construction management software (e.g., Xactimate, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office; prepare daily logs, RFIs, and change orders; drive site planning, logistics, and problem-solving to deliver projects efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in construction
- Experience as Construction Superintendent on commercial or residential projects preferred
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Xactimate, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA certification and other safety training preferred
