Job Summary
Looking for a qualified Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial projects, ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards, and manage subcontractors effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in construction related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years hands-on commercial construction experience including supervisory experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Effective use of technology: mobile phone, email, computer software, digital camera, etc.
- Must have, at time of hire and maintain throughout employment, a valid NY State driver’s license and be willing and able to travel if/when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Good math/accounting skills
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
