Job Summary
The Construction Superintendent is a critical project team member responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing all activities on a construction site from preconstruction to punch list. Key responsibilities include supervising work crews, ensuring safety compliance with OSHA regulations, preparing site logistic plans, managing project quality, leading project meetings, and coordinating required inspections and materials. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, along with 8-10 years of construction management experience and strong leadership skills, is preferred. Proficiency with various construction management tools and an excellent customer-oriented approach are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 8-10 years of construction management experience
- Proven successful leadership or supervisory role
- Current driver’s license and insurable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BIM/Navisworks/Autodesk is a plus
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project or P6 (scheduling), Bluebeam, Procore or Sage (construction management), and PowerPoint or Prezi (presenting)
