Job Summary
Oversee construction projects for Core Claims, Large Loss, Emergency Services, Mitigation, and Contents, managing workflow of field carpenters and laborers while coordinating subcontractors and county officials. Ensure company and customer satisfaction through expert workmanship and daily progress reporting to the Project Manager regarding delays or concerns. Maintain efficient use of manpower and materials, complete time sheets, and support the company image via professional site conduct. Requires full-time non-exempt status with on-site visits to properties affected by fire, water, or storm damage, including climbing roofs and carrying heavy materials.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- One year related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to regularly walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to frequently climb or balance
- Ability to occasionally sit
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to taste or smell
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to carry a 28' ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line
- Ability to carry a minimum of 50 pounds in weight

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of building codes (IRC 2006)
- Knowledge of fire and water restoration
- Knowledge and experience in local communities of the region
- Formal education in building sciences or similar field
