Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, managing schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards for commercial interiors. Serve as the primary on-site leader, developing two-week look-ahead schedules and ensuring complete daily documentation of work orders and tickets. Coordinate inspections, submittals, RFIs, and quality assurance while managing close-out processes including punch lists and handoffs. Identify problems early to provide timely solutions and avoid unnecessary change orders. This role supports the firm's commitment to delivering high-quality commercial interior projects through rigorous site leadership and proactive problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Construction Superintendent experience
- Interiors Construction experience
- Ability to oversee all aspects of construction project from start to finish
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, quality and safety standards for commercial construction projects
- Ability to serve as the leader for on-site safety
- Ability to develop and maintain 2-week look ahead schedules
- Ability to ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets
- Ability to understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders
- Ability to identify problems early and act timely to provide solutions
- Ability to coordinate inspections, submittals, RFIs and quality assurance documentation
- Ability to manage close-out process to include punch list and handoff
