Job Summary
Senior-level Construction Superintendent responsible for leading ground-up multi-unit housing projects in Northwest Michigan. Responsibilities include attending internal kickoff meetings, establishing site plans, coordinating with the PM on contracts, drawings, and schedules, setting up job sites, coordinating deliveries, conducting pre-start meetings with subcontractors, managing trade schedules, updating overall project schedules in Procore, leading safety programs, quality control, and closeout activities. The role emphasizes stakeholder communication, client relationship management, and ensuring safety and timely project completion. Requires 10+ years leading construction crews as a superintendent, 5 years in ground-up multi-unit housing, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), and a valid driver’s license. OSHA 30 and safety-related trainings (First Aid/CPR, heavy equipment, rigging, asbestos awareness, aerial work platform) are provided and expected within specified timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years construction experience in ground up multi-unit housing
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience leading construction crews as a Superintendent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 30 or completed within six months of hire
- First Aid and CPR
- Heavy machine operator card, rigging awareness, asbestos awareness, and aerial work platform operator training
