Job Summary
Manage day-to-day solar installation projects nationwide by scheduling work, coordinating material shipments, and supervising field operations to ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance. Perform daily quality assurance and control checks against issued drawings, correct defects promptly, and acquire required permits by coordinating with utility agencies. Select and manage subcontractors for civil, electrical, and mechanical work while evaluating payment applications and invoices to maintain cost efficiency. Proactively identify design elements that could lead to disputes or cost increases, and maintain accurate records throughout project lifecycles. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, frequently communicating with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve revisions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- Minimum of three years' experience in site construction management in commercial and utility-scale solar PV field
- Direct experience in managing projects more than 1Megawatt
- Experience managing all aspects of Solar Projects including Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical
- Ability to handle a complex workload
- Ability to identify complex problems and to review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Ability to prepare reports, budgets, and maintain records
- Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public
- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Ability to ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladder
- Ability to occasionally move materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
- Ability to frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
- Must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, preferred
- NABCEP Installer, NFPA 70e, and OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Experience managing projects more than 1Megawatt and all aspects of Solar Projects including Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical preferred
- Knowledge in solar and construction industry
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
- Computer and related software knowledge and/or experience and the ability to learn/use new computer programs to include MS Office products including MS Project
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with both internal and external customers
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Consulting and influencing abilities
