Job Summary
Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure timely, on-budget project completion for a Senior Living development. Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while enforcing safety programs, conducting toolbox talks, and performing site inspections. Monitor construction schedules, track progress, and address potential delays by working closely with project managers, engineers, and trades to resolve field issues. Ensure adherence to quality control standards, building codes, and all local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain daily field reports, site logs, and project documentation while acting as the primary on-site contact for inspectors, clients, and subcontractor leads. Requires 5+ years of experience, OSHA 30 certification, and proficiency with construction management software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field supervisory role
- Proven track record managing crews on commercial or residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, safety standards, and job site logistics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specs
- Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Clear and professional communication with all team members and stakeholders
- OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass background check
