Job Summary
The Construction Superintendent will oversee all on-site operations for commercial construction projects, managing subcontractors and field workers to ensure projects are completed from ground up to closeout. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. Candidates must possess strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects
- Knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with framing metal buildings
- Knowledge of concrete forming
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate a team
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be able-bodied to assist in performing certain portions of the work
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
