Construction Superintendent (DSA/K-12)

Job Summary
Coordinate subcontractors and multi-primes while supervising self-performed work items on assigned projects. Maintain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and contractors; process clarifications requests; and update as-built drawings. Track costs, develop initial project schedules, and regularly update them throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure progress photos are captured daily and that daily reports are accurately prepared. Comply with contract documents to assure material and workmanship quality meets specifications. Review shop drawings and submittals for coordination; assist the Project Manager in estimating changes. Implement company safety plans and work with the assigned Project Manager as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Commercial and Public Works experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and facility with numbers
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a busy job site environment
- Ability to resolve issues independently based on project/company standards and verification of facts prior to releasing documents to the client or outside agencies
- Good judgment, logic, and ability to learn new things quickly
- Must have good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history are required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Procore, and MS Project scheduling software a plus
