Job Summary
Lead field operations on commercial ground-up projects as Construction Superintendent in Shawnee, KS. Direct daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and inspections to maintain schedule, enforce safety standards, monitor workmanship against design specifications, and maintain site documentation while serving as the primary on-site contact for project managers, architects, engineers, and owners.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of field experience as a Construction Superintendent or Site Superintendent with a licensed General Contractor on commercial projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously across ground-up builds
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered
- Ground-up restaurant, food service, or retail construction experience strongly preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- LEED accreditation a plus
