Job Summary
Construction Superintendent responsible for field oversight of commercial/industrial, education, multi-family, and healthcare projects in Charlotte, NC. Develop and manage project schedules, oversee subcontractor performance, ensure on-time delivery and total quality, prepare documentation for site coordination, implement QC/QA programs, and promote a safe job site through the company's safety program. Must have LEAN and LEED knowledge, strong leadership in a team environment, build relationships with owners/designers/subcontractors, stay current with industry technology, and be willing to travel/accept remote assignments. Salary range $90,000–$100,000 with comprehensive benefits; relocation not specified.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a project superintendent
- Understanding of LEAN construction practices and LEED Green Building requirements
- A leader who prefers to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Ability to develop relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors and other trade partners
- Willingness to learn new approaches and tools
- Stay on the cutting edge of industry technology with strong computer skills
- Willingness to travel and take remote assignments
- Valid driver's license
