Job Summary
Oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and EV charging infrastructure projects to ensure completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel while conducting daily inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications. Maintain accurate logs and reports, resolve issues proactively, and enforce strict safety regulations through regular toolbox talks. Coordinate critical path activities, interpret construction drawings, and facilitate trade sequencing to optimize labor and material utilization. Collaborate with project managers to maintain schedules and budgets, providing regular updates on on-site progress.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of construction experience
- Expertise in interiors, mechanical, civil, or utility services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams on-site
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and completeness
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with OSHA standards and regulations
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- Proven ability to enforce safety protocols and foster a culture of safety on-site
- 5–7 years of on-site construction management experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare construction projects
- Additional safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR)
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
