Job Summary
Provide onsite leadership for the direct subcontractor workforce and control all field and construction management activities. Support the Project Manager with planning, organizing critical path activities, and managing submittal schedules, material deliveries, and productivity updates. Supervise the timely and cost-effective installation of contracted work while developing comprehensive project sequences and logistics plans. Ensure compliance with company safety, industry, trade, and federal/local jurisdictional standards throughout design and construction. Deliver ongoing project status updates and reports to all parties. Based in Kodiak Island, AK, this role requires ten years of construction experience with five in commercial or government settings, OSHA 30-hour certification, and the ability to review confidential US Security information.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or an equivalent
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in construction
- At least five (5) years of experience in commercial or government construction industry as a site superintendent or a similar role
- Ability to review confidential US Security information
- OSHA 30-hour Certification

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical and electrical construction
- In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower
- Demonstrated ability to lead field operations
- Knowledge and experience with performing Quality Control management
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills
- Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, building systems, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships
- EM-385-1 Certification
- Primavera P6 Experience
- Preferred electrical or mechanical background
