Job Summary
Operate AFL-owned equipment including vibratory plows and H-Vac units for excavation, hauling, and loading/unloading at job sites. Conduct safety training, site inspections, and locates calls while troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining vehicles and test equipment. Install pathways and drops, access aerial locations using ladders or bucket trucks, and submit daily production reports. Manage materials stock levels, assist with region updates for day 7 SLA orders, and perform other duties as directed. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies while working indoors, outdoors, and in enclosed spaces across all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in telecom industry
- Strong mechanical and analytical ability
- Ability to do fine, precise work with their hands
- Must be able to work at height of 30 feet
- Ability to manage a physically demanding workload
- Proficient in operating hand and power tools, and test equipment
- Normal color vision to work with color-coded wiring
- Fluent in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Clean driver's abstract
