Job Summary
Lead field operations for higher education campus projects on a major Arlington, TX site, coordinating trades, logistics, and campus interface while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction. Serve as the primary field point of contact for clients, campus stakeholders, inspectors, and design partners; plan look-ahead schedules, sequence work, and manage daily coordination with subcontractors and suppliers. Manage campus logistics (site access, pedestrian/traffic control, noise/vibration controls, utility shutdown planning) and oversee punch lists, RFIs, change orders, and as-built documentation. Maintain strong safety culture and quality control; demonstrate expert knowledge of MEP systems, life safety, and commissioning for campus buildings; proficient use of construction-management tools (e.g., Procore) and read/d interpret drawings/specs. Requires BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management or similar, and 4 years of construction experience (or equivalent); ability to work on active/occupied campuses and occasional nights/weekends. This role does not sponsor US work authorization and requires in-person work on site.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum
- 4 years relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Preferred: 4 years superintendent experience with higher education or complex institutional projects
- Demonstrated success delivering buildings/classrooms/student housing/athletic/rec centers, or occupied campus renovations
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, life safety, and commissioning for campus buildings
- Proficiency with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore) and look-ahead scheduling practices
- Ability to work on active/occupied campuses, including occasional nights/weekends
