Job Summary
Support subcontracting and sourcing strategy for Waste to X Plants and Renewable Gas, including market research analysis and developing local supplier networks. Promote the company as the Partner of Choice to contractors while managing the selection process for construction and site lots. Prepare and follow up on Project Engineering Procurement Plans, issue Request for Quotations, and lead negotiations for installation and site procurements. Direct commercial administration of site and installation lots, including cost forecasting, purchase order follow-up, and commercial clarifications. Ensure effectiveness through adherence to subcontracting processes and close cooperation with the Construction ME tendering team. Supports startup and live sites within the Branch region for local procurement and emergency orders.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education
- Commercial and market experience (procurement, commercial department) from technical industry (power, industry, renewable gas & others)
- Proven commercial experience & education
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management
- Knowledge of IFS, SAP (or any other ERP system) and MS-Office, eProcurement solutions
- Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon)
- QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets
- Very good commercial and administrative skills from international technical environment
- Very good product and market knowledge
- Cooperative, proactive and honest approach
- Takes responsibility for ensuring best outcomes
- Able to clearly communicate at all levels
- Promotes internal and external collaboration, based on company values
- Self-motivated and capable of working under limited supervision within policies
- Problem-solving experience
- Can clarify ambiguities in everyday life through factual discussions
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally technical education with the commercial and market experience (procurement, commercial department) from technical industry (power, industry, renewable gas & others)
- Ideally multilingual with Good English, French language as an advantage
