Job Summary
Construction Survey Coordinator role coordinating staking services for active land development projects, bridging field, office, and client teams. Responsibilities include scheduling staking services, communicating scope/timing/deliverables with field crews, project managers, engineers, and contractors; reviewing plans, control data, and CAD files for staking; QA/QC of staking deliverables; tracking progress, deadlines, materials, and crews; preparing detailed estimates and proposals for staking services; analyzing documents to determine required services; collaborating to develop project scope and cost breakdowns; maintaining cost databases and historical pricing; assisting with budget tracking and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in land surveying
- 2+ years of experience in estimating survey work or related civil engineering services
- Strong understanding of land development processes and construction documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and project management software
- Familiarity with local regulations, survey standards, and construction practices
