Construction Specialist

Project-facing Construction Specialist responsible for daily direction and oversight of Infrastructure Technician teams, staffing project tasks from start-up through closeout, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Key duties include enforcing safety programs, participating in safety incident investigations and lessons learned, developing and monitoring Quality Control programs, assisting in project plans and 5-week lookahead schedules, managing field workforce placement to meet timelines and budgets, coordinating material shipments with procurement, developing training for field staff, providing technical guidance to field technicians on installation best practices, ensuring compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, and related standards, serving as on-site customer liaison, leading meetings, resolving procedural conflicts, and working with QA/QC to ensure installation quality and punch list resolution. Must read and interpret complex design documents, oversee fiber optic and structured cabling installations, and possess strong communication and change-control skills. Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; 3-5 years of Structured Cabling installation experience; lead/foreman experience preferred. Travel up to 15% and daily project-site presence.
