Job Summary
Oversee on-site construction across multiple high-end single-family residential projects in Northern NJ/NYC area, focusing on field execution, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining quality, schedule, and safety. Manage day-to-day activities, coordinate material deliveries and field logistics, supervise in-house laborers, and perform quality control checks. Maintain daily job logs, track progress in Buildertrend, prepare material requests, and assist with purchase orders. Read and interpret architectural/structural drawings, ensure work is performed to code and in accordance with plans, and coordinate inspections and readiness for milestones. Maintain clear communication with the owner about progress and field conditions, ensuring design intent is met through effective coordination and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of single-family residential construction experience; luxury or custom homes a plus
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar project management tools
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field workflows
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Must be comfortable working exclusively in the field across multiple job sites
