Construction Site Safety Lead Compliance Officer

Job Summary
Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company protocols. Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans while conducting regular inspections and hazard assessments. Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate safety training programs including toolbox talks and emergency drills. Manage and direct two on-site safety compliance officers. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and audits. Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and maintain accurate safety documentation. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of construction safety experience, and knowledge of NFPA70-E.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field or BCSP ASP GSP STSC SMP CHST OHST CSP
- Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard recognition, and risk management
- Experience conducting safety audits and inspections
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and training abilities
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Leadership and conflict resolution skills
