Job Summary
Oversee construction phase services for a multidisciplinary group, supervising resident and inspection staff, coordinating with engineering divisions, and aligning group goals with client needs. Responsible for internal/external business development, fee development and negotiation, preparing proposals in response to RFPs, marketing construction phase services to communities and agencies, maintaining procedures for the department, hiring and supervising construction observation staff, developing staffing plans, ensuring OSHA compliance, advising in-house design staff on constructability, mentoring junior staff, managing sub-consultants, and delivering quality service while traveling up to 20% of the time. Requires 15+ years of construction project management experience, strong preference for consulting engineering background, and a connection to New England; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
