Job Summary
Construction Senior Superintendent responsible for on-site supervision of multifamily residential new construction in Bozeman, MT. Lead the project setup, site logistics, and master scheduling; coordinate with internal and external teams to align schedules, resources, and budget. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. Utilize Procore and MS Project to track progress, document deficiencies and inspections, and develop recovery plans if schedules slip. Drive value engineering options, strengthen relationships with city officials, owners, and trades, and mentor the project team through the construction lifecycle. Must manage logistics, procurement, and coordination of trade partners while maintaining compliance with building codes and ADA laws; ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings; possess strong organizational skills and ownership mindset. The role requires on-site leadership across multiple sites as needed and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of on site supervision experience in multifamily residential new building construction
- BS Degree in Construction Management or related field
- High school diploma or GED with 5-10 years of related experience
- Knowledge of current building codes and ADA laws
- Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, MEP trades, and interior finishes
- A demonstrated understanding of multifamily construction means and methods
- Experience in alternative building methods and value engineering
- Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Microsoft Project scheduling software
- Bluebeam
- Procore construction management software
- Ability to work independently leading a small team overseeing the entire construction life cycle
- Review all construction documentation, owner building standards and finish schedules to execute on site
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP trade drawings
- Well organized and ability to forecast all upcoming scopes of work for timely completion
- Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to walk property, including up to 7 flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections
- Maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
- Build confidence in owners and developers in anticipation of continued project opportunities
- Location: The Construction Superintendent will primarily work on site at project locations
