Job Summary
Construction Senior Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects from concept through closeout.Responsibilities include directing project initiatives, cultivating client relationships, leading subcontractor procurement and change orders, ensuring cost control and schedule adherence, coordinating design-team and field execution, and promoting safety and quality culture. Mentors junior staff and exercises executive ownership across projects. Requires 7–10 years PM experience, a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture, proficiency with Procore/MS Project/MS Office, ability to travel up to 10%, and a hybrid work setup (in-office in Chicago with Wednesday & Friday remote and half-day Fridays). Compensation includes $130,000–$160,000 salary plus discretionary annual bonus and ESOP; firm emphasizes employee ownership, work-life balance, and design-build expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 7–10 years of successful, diverse construction project management experience
- Deep technical understanding of construction engineering principles (materials, methods, sequencing, scheduling, estimating)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry (laws, contracts, accounting, liability/insurance)
- High-level proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite
- Ability to travel periodically up to 10% to U.S. construction locations
