Job Summary
Senior Project Manager responsible for providing overall project management support for several construction projects from bid through closeout. Provides supervision and technical management on construction project sites, from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. Responsibilities include safety leadership, contract administration, project set-up, site labor coordination and scheduling, budgeting and estimating, documentation/submittals/O&M, coordinating purchasing and sub-contracts, production tracking, quality control/quality assurance, project cost control and billing, cost to complete/forecasting, change orders, project closeout, and internal/external communication. Travel opportunities may be available. Minimum qualifications include five years of project management experience in construction and working knowledge of electrical construction from an electrical apprenticeship; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; additional experience in high tech or mission critical data center construction.
Required Qualifications
- A working knowledge of electrical construction at a level normally acquired through completion of five-year electrical apprentice program
- 5+ years’ experience in a project management position in construction industry
