Job Summary
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, maintain a professional presence in building lobbies and control centers, and enforce access control procedures to ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted zones. Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents while assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers with customer service duties. Ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors by enforcing location policies, responding to emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and communicating with emergency personnel using proper protocols. Liaise with client staff to follow through on requests and keep site supervisors updated on all communications. Work various shifts Monday through Sunday in a seasonal role with a rate of $17.60, reporting to the Account Director.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent education certification, such as a GED
- Must be able to pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana)
- Must not have been convicted of any felonies
- Must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including for marijuana), or two or more alcohol related offenses
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk, including up and down stairs, for 8-12 hours at a time
