Job Summary

Create logical sequencing of work, contract durations, and phasing while analyzing construction schedules to maintain critical path analysis. Track project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend work-arounds to ensure projects complete on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards. Review and analyze claims, time extensions, and cost impacts; advise the Project Manager on change orders with schedule implications. Utilize Primavera/Expedition to develop, report, and manage data for assigned projects, liaising with contractors and clients to coordinate all construction phases. Prepare monthly reports and participate in identifying scheduling process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience working directly as a full-time Scheduler involved in construction projects
  • 4 years minimum of construction project scheduling experience
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Smart Sheets)
  • Ability to work closely with clients, laborers, and project managers to successfully schedule and coordinate all phases of the construction process
  • Ability and the understanding to fully utilize the computer program Primavera/Expedition
  • Experience in the developing of logical sequencing of the work, contract durations and phasing
  • Experience in the review and analysis of claims, time extensions, and impact on costs
  • Maintain critical path analysis and reporting deviations against the master schedule
  • Maintaining change management program
  • Responsibility for project and program contingency planning
  • Providing critical path analyses, identifying problem areas and creating work-around solutions
  • Analyze construction schedules and recommend work-arounds and schedule improvement ideas
  • Advise Project Manager of change orders with schedule impact
  • Validate contractors' project schedule accuracy
  • Develop, report, and manage data for portfolio of assigned projects
  • Actively participate in a identify scheduling process improvements
  • Liaison with contractors' scheduling resources
  • Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports
  • Assisting with identifying out-of-scope work items and creating change order requests to be presented to client
  • Preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal clients
  • Indoor office environment
  • Overnight travel on occasion

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to construction preferred
