CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULER

Job Summary
Develop the project schedule using design drawings, contracts, and specifications while incorporating deliverables to identify design risks. Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to facilitate baselines, maintain working schedules from initiation to closeout, and create optimization scenarios. Produce reports in varying formats for the project team and lead weekly update meetings and pull planning sessions. Conduct frequent analysis of critical and near-critical paths, perform constructability reviews, and communicate risks and opportunities. Perform regular site walks to validate progress and identify potential risks. Requires five years of CPM scheduling experience in P6, proficiency in resource loading, and strong communication skills. Safety-sensitive role involving physical duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and operating vehicles; drug test and background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Five years or more of P6 CPM scheduling experience in similar markets
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, with a focus on Excel
- Complete understanding of current scheduling concepts and best practices
- Thorough understanding of CPM scheduling methodologies
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to potentially lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to potentially do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
- Must be able to potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
