Job Summary

Develop and maintain integrated, logic-driven project schedules using Primavera P6 and EPC methodologies from conceptual planning through operational startup. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to create critical path method networks, collect schedule inputs, and monitor progress while identifying variances and implementing corrective actions. Ensure all scheduling activities comply with Earned Value Management System requirements and manage change control processes to maintain baseline integrity. Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for project teams and senior leadership to support forecasting and decision-making. Report to the Project Controls department at Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Knoxville/Oak Ridge, TN.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of construction scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • U.S. Citizenship required to obtain facility-specific security clearance
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively
  • Work during normal operating hours
  • Work overtime and weekends as required

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous Nuclear, DOE, or large-scale EPC project experience
  • Experience supporting projects operating under Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements
  • Strong understanding of scheduling fundamentals, critical path methodology (CPM), and schedule risk analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to effectively present schedule briefings and project status updates to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Flexible and responsive to urgent project requests and changing business needs
