Job Summary
Develop and coordinate project schedules for capital improvement initiatives at Los Angeles Harbor College, including critical path and earned value analyses. Review contractor schedules for compliance, evaluate change orders for budget impacts, and perform time impact analyses to assess delays and claims. Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, present weekly and monthly schedule findings to management, and prepare cost-loaded schedules with cash-flow projections. Identify scheduling issues and recommend corrective actions while participating in change order negotiations. Requires 10+ years of scheduling experience, Primavera proficiency, and ability to travel across multiple project sites.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of project or program scheduling experience on large construction programs
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project and Excel
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and cost-engineering principles
- Demonstrated experience performing Time Impact Analysis
- Experience with construction claims and change orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel between assigned project sites as needed
