Job Summary
Scheduler IV role coordinating the preparation of project schedules, conducting contractor schedule reviews for conformance and QA, evaluating change orders for budget and schedule impact, performing time impact analyses, participating in change order negotiations, conducting Critical Path and Earned Value analyses, identifying and addressing schedule-related issues, conducting site visits for progress reporting, reviewing contractor progress and generating narrative findings for management, reviewing and evaluating recovery schedules, and performing cost analysis to support design and construction phases of capital projects while applying contracts and procedures within Build guidelines. Requires strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple sites with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above maybe substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling
- Experience with time impact analysis
- Experience with construction claims and change orders
- Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
