Construction Scheduler

Job Summary
Construction Scheduler responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining cost controls and centralized planning/scheduling for multiple pharmaceutical/institutional construction projects. Works with project team, reports to the project manager, reads blueprints/documents, develops schedules for design/construction/commissioning, coordinates schedules, sets up in Procore/Touch Plan/P6, communicates with field superintendents, creates/analyzes schedule reports, provides proposals and quality checks on scheduled deliverables. On-site at construction worksite with exposure to typical construction hazards; requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to manage tight deadlines across renovations and new builds. B.S. in engineering/construction management and 8+ years of experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, proficiency in Microsoft Office, PMP/LEAN/OSHA10 or related credentials are a plus; willingness to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in project controls in the design and construction industry
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling software
- Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver work on assigned schedules
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project
- Strong schedule development and review skills
- Ability to work effectively amongst project stakeholders independently and with minimal supervision
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
