Construction Safety Manager

Job Summary
Safety Manager responsible for leading the EHS program across construction projects, ensuring compliance with government, company, and general contractor requirements; coaching operations personnel, project management, and subcontractors to create an injury-free culture; developing and executing safe working plans; delivering EHS training; reviewing subcontractor safety programs; tracking safety performance and corrective actions; and supporting cross-functional EHS teams and safety committees. Requires strong communication, training development, and the ability to balance strategic and tactical safety initiatives across multiple assignments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a proven track record in teaching safety programs is expected.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline (preferred)
- Professional certification recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professional (preferred CSP, ASP, CHST)
- OSHA 30 certified
- 5-7 years of professional safety experience (construction industry preferred)
- Knowledge of Cal/OSHA construction and general industry regulations
- Management or supervisory experience or a senior staff position is desired
- Eligibility to drive a company vehicle per company insurance policy is required
