Job Summary
Lead safety program across Connecticut construction projects, conducting jobsite audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; partner with project teams to identify hazards and implement proactive corrective actions; deliver safety training and coaching for field personnel and leadership; monitor OSHA compliance and safety documentation; analyze safety metrics and collaborate with operations to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent construction safety experience will be considered
- Minimum of five years of occupational safety experience
- Construction safety experience preferred in building, infrastructure, or heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with safety management software, claims reporting systems, and mobile inspection platforms
- ASP, CSP, CHST, or other relevant safety certifications preferred
