Job Summary
Lead safety program development and continuous improvement while conducting jobsite inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards. Partner with field teams to promote safe practices, oversee PPE and fall protection systems, and develop site-specific safety and emergency plans. Maintain safety documentation, SDS/MSDS records, and track certifications, while supporting estimating and bidding with safety requirements. Lead JSAs and toolbox talks, and coordinate safety training initiatives. Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays, in an outdoor environment involving travel between job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction safety or related field
- Strong knowledge of MIOSHA and OSHA
- Experience with safety programs and audits
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather
- Must be able to walk and stand on uneven terrain
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be available for travel between job sites
- Must be available for occasional Saturdays
