Job Summary
Construction Safety Manager – leads EHS programs across large-scale construction and mission-critical infrastructure projects, driving safety strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Provides leadership to site safety professionals, partners with project leadership and contractors to integrate safety into construction activities, conducts safety audits and incident investigations, develops and delivers safety training, supports Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments, and establishes safety metrics to guide continuous improvement across multiple projects. Must ensure adherence to OSHA and applicable regulations; travel up to 15% within the US; strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated experience managing safety programs within complex construction environments
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire
