Job Summary

Develop Industrial EHS assessments, policies, and plans while leading safety meetings and coordinating training across manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication operations. Conduct detailed incident investigations, produce high-quality reports, and perform equipment, location, and tool inspections to ensure compliance. Evaluate shop practices and emergency response procedures for gaps, recommend air monitoring devices, and perform air sampling and data logging. Enter daily training and audits into the online system, maintain OSHA-compliant records, and report trends to the EHS Director. Collaborate with operations leaders and project managers to implement documented safety solutions and coach all levels of employees on best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 Hour General Industry
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS programs in construction or general industry organizations, process, manufacturing or similar general industry organizations
  • At least one year of management and oversight experience for direct reports and/or management training
  • Advanced coursework or training in EHS subjects and college level courses and degrees
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to project sites with company vehicles

  • OSHA 500 / 501 Certification – Outreach trainer
  • OSHA level courses related to general industry and industrial hygiene subjects
  • Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications
  • Machine Guarding Courses
  • Hazardous Materials handling and Storage credentials
  • Environmental and Industrial Waste Management
  • Fire Prevention and Suppression related courses
  • CSP – Certified Safety Professional
  • Other EHS related Management Certifications
